The Year of the Tiger is approaching, I am saying this is becasue, 4th Feburary 2010 at 0642 hrs, is Spring Start; this is the start of Spring and the begining of the first month in chinese Li Chun calander. Those who are born in this day onward will belongs to the zodiac sign of Tiger. This is a Golden Tiger, why? because, every year, there is a Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch, the Heavenly Stem will be Metal (in chinese it is written as Gold), the Earthly Branch will be Tiger, it is a Wood Element. Both are Yang Elements. In short it is simply know as 'Geng Yin'(chinese pronounciation)

In chinese metaphysic, we can look at a person birth data to foretell how is the year affects one personal live in the year of tiger. If we are just looking at the tiger year of Yang Metal and Yang Wood, it should not be clashing with any of the elements that is Yang Wood and Yang Earth. In the element of destruction, Metal cut/attack Wood, Wood attack Earth. In the element of birth, Metal give birth to Water and Wood give birth to Fire. Those who know about Flying Star, you will know that for the year of tiger, the controlling Flying star is Star 8. Star 8 is also the ruling star. Those masters who practice Flying Star, if they tell you, your house is belongs to period 8, meaning you shifted into the new house from 2004 onwards. There are a total of 9 stars, from star 1 to 9. Star 8 rule from 2004 to 2013; a period of 20 years. However, for yearly star, it changes every year. It runs in decending order. This year;Ox year is star 9, come next year; Tiger year, star 8 rules.

If we fly the stars, these are the sectors; Star 8 - Centre, Star 9 - NorthWest, Star 1 - West, Star 2 -NorthEast, Star 3 - South, Star 4 - North, Star 5 - SouthWest, Star 6 - East and Star 7 - SouthEast. Conincidently, it duplicates the period star chart.

When we are in period 8, the usable stars are 8,9 and 1. Those bad stars are; 2,5,and 3. Each of the star has it own characteristics. Element wise; star 2 = Earth, star 5 = Earth and Star 3 = Wood.
